Job Description Our department helps guide students through academic excellence with co‑curricular activities and programming. The Federal Work Study Students for the Office of Student Government and Leadership Development will provide the utmost level of customer service for the Student Union main office, engaging students as ambassadors and maintaining a welcoming, peaceful work environment.Position Description Assist the Administrative Assistant/Coordinator in the execution, setup, and cleanup of Henderson Campus Life eventsProvide active student engagement before, during, and after Henderson Campus Life eventsAssist the Department AA/Coordinator with creating and posting event flyers, updating designated bulletin boardsFulfill Coyote Cupboard and Cody's Locker student pickups and provide excellent customer serviceHelp maintain organization, cleanliness, and inventory of designated department spaces such as office area, pantry, fridge, and storage areasAssist in the fulfillment of any purchases for food or supplies the department may needAssist with the management of social media accountsMake copies and file documentsCreate student and faculty/staff ID badgesAssist with office and file folder maintenanceComplete tasks as assigned by various Henderson Campus Life staff membersAssist students with information and services as neededHelp answer any incoming calls, retrieve and respond to voicemails and messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate person, office, or departmentScanning, filing paperwork, data entry, and archiving old filesOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications Microsoft Office knowledge/experienceBe friendly, outgoing, supportive team member, and willing to learnHave a good understanding of diverse communities and culturesAbility to follow directions and communicate wellBe punctual, reliable, cooperative, and trustworthyAbility to complete assigned projects independentlyWork well in a team setting with colleagues and staffGood knowledge of CSN's basic services and campus departmentsPreferred Qualifications Previous customer service skillsCreative and artistic skillsKnowledge of computer graphics programs such as Canva, Adobe Creative SuiteExperience creating and posting content for social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTokRequired Attachments Resume/CVProof you've received the Student Employment Award (e.g., a copy of the latest CSN Award Notification or a screenshot of the accepted award in MyCSN)EEO Statement CSN is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action institution.
