HOURS: To be determined. Work hours will be based on college work-study funding. Scheduled work hours may not conflict with class hours. Position terminates at end of semester or when award is exhausted. Hours may not exceed 30 hours per week.

Job Function

To assist the head coach in all aspects of coordinating practices and game day functioning.

Now hiring for the Fall 2026 semester.

• a current student at Macomb Community College taking AT LEAST 6 credit hours.
• currently have a work-study award given by Financial Aid - If you have not received an award or are not sure, fill out and submit this form and contact finaid@macomb.edu with questions.

Job Responsibilities

• Drill & Practice Support: Rebounding for players, assisting in drills (as a screener, passer, defender), and operating the clock/scoreboard during practice.
• Logistics & Setup: Managing setup and cleanup for practices and film sessions, assisting with water bottles, and organizing laundry (uniforms and practice gear).
• Game Support: Tracking team stats during games, help with set up, film games on the road.

Education

High school diploma.

Qualifications

No experience needed but preferred experience with desired athletic team.

This position is not eligible for benefits.
