Position Details
General Statement Adjunct instructors are hired based on the needs of the institution which are evaluated every semester. At present Great Falls College invites interested parties to apply to teach Freshman Composition WRIT 101 College Writing 1
Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and teach subject matter content to traditional non- traditional and dual-enrollment students Teach courses in a variety of modalities according to institutional need Maintain current disciplinary knowledge Prepare syllabi Report grades academic alerts and academic integrity violations and student outcomes assessment Evaluate student work Maintain appropriate professional relationships with students colleagues and the community Meet reporting and record keeping requirements in accordance with the college calendar Demonstrate skill knowledge and abilities in the teaching of writing and Work with students and colleagues of varied backgrounds.
