Requirements
As an Autobody Painter you will:
- Complete prep / paint procedures
- Communicate with body shop manager and parts department through all collision repairs.
- Ability to work with a variety of materials, along with paint process, ability to work with steel, aluminum and plastic.
- Maintain communication with entire collision center/dealership associates throughout the day.
- Execute repair procedures and protocols in a timely manner based on estimates timeframe.
- Perform any other work-related duties assigned by his/her supervisor.
- Flexibility with days and hours in times of high volume.
Skills, Experience and Educational Qualifications:- 4-6 years minimum of auto body painter experience required.
- Paint Certification, I-Car and Manufacturer a plus.
- Able to make independent decisions on repair process, parts and timing.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, etc. required to perform the job in a safe and proper manner.
- Maintain an energetic, positive attitude and work well with others.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
