Collision Center Body Technician (A-Level / Structural Tech)
At Greenway Collision Center, our A-Level technicians handle complex repairs including structural and heavy collision work. If you take pride in producing high-quality repairs, flag strong hours, and want consistent workflow, we want to talk to you.
Compensation:
- Starting $35.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level
- Performance-based pay opportunities available
Hours:
- Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- No Sundays
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced structural and non-structural repairs including heavy collision damage
- Perform all assigned repairs to dealership and OEM quality standards
- Complete body repairs according to approved estimates
- Diagnose and repair structural and non-structural damage (full-frame and unibody)
- Repair or replace body panels, components, and related systems
- Perform welding, measuring, and structural alignment repairs
- Remove and reinstall interior and exterior components as needed
- Inspect all repairs for quality and accuracy before completion
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety, OSHA, and environmental regulations
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
- Work collaboratively with estimators, parts, and production teams
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of collision repair experience (body shop preferred)
- Ability to perform structural repairs and operate frame equipment
- Strong understanding of measuring systems and repair procedures
- Aluminum repair experience is a plus (not required)
- I-CAR certifications preferred or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
- Must be 18 years or older
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and use of tools
- Work in a fast-paced shop environment
