Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine scope of repairs using estimating software and collision repair knowledge
• Prepare detailed, accurate repair estimates that include parts, labor, and materials, ensuring transparency for customers and insurance companies
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding repair procedures, costs, and timelines to enhance customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with body shop staff to coordinate repairs and ensure quality standards are met
• Upsell unrelated damages
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all estimates, client interactions, and repair progress in computer-aided estimating systems
• Assist in managing customer inquiries related to auto body repairs, insurance claims, and vehicle diagnostics

Requirements

• Proven experience in auto estimating software and collision repair processes
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a mechanic or collision technician preferred
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, suspension systems, and other auto body repairs
• Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
• Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and transparency
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to drive company vehicles as needed
• Knowledge of computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools and automotive repair procedures
