Job Overview
Join our dynamic team in Sandy Springs as a Collision Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in advancing our Certified Collision Program. This position is ideal for a forward-thinking, solutions-oriented professional eager to drive strategic program development and operational excellence. You'll excel in training, communication, industry relations, dealer relations, and marketing initiatives, all while enjoying the vibrant community of Sandy Springs.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with vendors to manage new program applications and re-certifications, ensuring documentation and process accuracy.
Ensure compliance with Primary Market Area (PMA) guidelines and evaluate proximity considerations for program participants.
Prepare approval letters, maintain archives, and manage participant profiles efficiently.
Coordinate initial welder certification and re-entry training, communicating results and necessary remedial actions.
Oversee billing, program fees, and training-related fee collection.
Maintain accurate participant accounts, providing timely responses to disputes, questions, or delinquencies.
Monitor program performance, compliance, and standing on required elements.
Lead marketing tasks, including POS collateral, digital assets, and certification plaque development.
Support participation in industry events such as insurance workshops, roundtables, and professional forums.
Coordinate audit activities, acting as a liaison between third-party auditors and field personnel.
Partner with Parts Logistics to ensure accurate distribution of certification-controlled parts.
Communicate updates to technical information systems to program participants and audit subcontractors.
Utilize data analytics to evaluate performance, identify trends, and present insights for program improvement.
Develop impactful PowerPoint presentations, reports, and strategic recommendation decks.
Proactively identify challenges and recommend solutions to enhance program effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
2–4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
Accounting – Understanding of internal controls and financial transaction processing.
Administration – Experience with organizational processes, project coordination, and systems.
Automotive Retail – Knowledge of dealership operations, especially service and parts.
Automotive Collision Repair – Knowledge of body shop operations and claims process.
Business Operations – Understanding of core business practices and drivers of profitability.
Communications Planning – Experience with marketing research, planning, and execution.
Market Research – Experience gathering and analyzing data from multiple research sources.
Parts & Accessories – Understanding of parts distribution, strategy, and operations.
Sales – Knowledge of sales processes that enhance the customer experience.
Vendor Management – Experience coordinating with third-party agencies or vendors.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Strong data analytics skills with the ability to convert insights into actionable recommendations.
Advanced PowerPoint skills and comfort with analytics tools (Excel, BI platforms, etc.).
Forward-thinking, proactive problem solver with the ability to anticipate challenges.
Strong multitasking and organizational abilities in a dynamic environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in collision repair and/or the parts and accessories industry is a significant plus.
