Collision Technician Assistant

Join Eide Automotive Group as a Collision Technician Assistant in Bismarck, ND. In this role, you will support our collision repair technicians by preparing vehicles and assisting with repair processes to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Also performing final quality control inspections to ensure vehicles are returned in next to new condition every time once repairs are complete. This position offers an opportunity to grow your skills in the automotive repair industry within a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist collision technicians in vehicle disassembly and reassembly.
• Prepare vehicles for repair by removing damaged components and cleaning.
• Perform buffing and touch up paint work on light body repairs. 
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Support technicians by fetching tools and materials as required.
• Help in inspecting parts and materials to ensure quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, and perform manual tasks throughout the workday.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
