Color Lab Technician / Color Lab Support Associate

Job Title: Color Lab Technician / Color Lab Support Associate
Location: Shakeopee, MN
Type: Contract
Compensation: $22 per hour
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: M-F 7 AM- 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Prepare products and samples to support Color Lab operations
• Transfer product from 5-gallon pails into quart containers accurately
• Pour and transfer coating materials safely and efficiently
• Prepare and solidify products and samples according to laboratory procedures
• Label, package, and organize customer samples for shipment
• Verify sample accuracy before shipment
• Perform routine checks on automatic pigment dispensers
• Calibrate laboratory equipment as needed
• Follow all safety, health, environmental, and quality procedures
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Report unsafe conditions, accidents, and hazards immediately
• Support ISO quality and environmental compliance initiatives
• Complete special projects and other duties assigned by the Color Lab Supervisor
• Maintain high standards of safety, environmental responsibility, teamwork, and performance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability and willingness to support the Color Lab team in a laboratory and manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in coatings, paint, manufacturing, laboratory, or related environments is preferred but not required
• Ability to safely handle and transfer coating and laboratory materials
• Ability to pour and transfer products from large containers into smaller containers
• Ability to prepare, solidify, and package products and samples according to established procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions and procedures
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver containers weighing up to 65 lbs
• Commitment to safety, environmental, and quality standards
