Qualifications and Skills
Valid Special Education teaching license/certification in the state of Colorado.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Expertise in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs).
At least 2 years experience teaching in a school setting (preferred).
At least 1 year of online teaching experience (preferred).
Responsibilities and Duties
Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique strengths, needs, and goals.
Deliver engaging virtual instruction and support, utilizing innovative online tools and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and accessibility needs.
Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, therapists, and other educators to ensure a holistic and individualized approach to student success.
Monitor student progress, track IEP goals, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize learning outcomes.
Utilize online assessment tools and reporting systems to document progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
About the Opportunity
Our Special Education Teacher position is 100% remote.
Daytime availability is required.
All Joven Health providers are 1099 independent contractors and not employees.
