Baylor College of Medicine is located in the Texas Medical Center, the world's largest medical center. The Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery includes approximately 280 faculty members who practice across leading affiliated institutions, including Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, Texas Children's Hospital, Ben Taub Hospital, and the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center.
The Section of Colorectal Surgery offers a collaborative academic environment with access to advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical platforms, the NCI-designated Dan L Duncan Cancer Center, a multidisciplinary inflammatory bowel disease center, and an anorectal center. The successful candidate will have opportunities to advance comprehensive colorectal care while engaging in multidisciplinary collaboration, education, and scholarship.

Summary
The Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine seeks an exceptional, fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon to join the Section of Colorectal Surgery. This is a full-time academic faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will build an academic clinical practice focused at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center while contributing meaningfully to surgical education, clinical research, quality improvement, and the broader mission of Baylor College of Medicine.
