Comercial Housekeeping Clerk

About the Role:
A Manufacturing company is looking for a part-time Commercial Housekeeping Clerk to join our team in Houston, TX! Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning of all areas of the buildings inside and outside as directed
• Dust surfaces, sweep, vacuum, mop, wax, and polish furniture and floors
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
• Remove trash and recycling daily and prepare for weekly pick-up
• Maintain cleanliness of office spaces, hallways, and entryways
• Scrub and disinfect toilets, sinks, and mirrors; restock soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue
• Wipe down countertops, tables, microwaves, and refrigerators in the kitchen area
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• Monitor cleaning product inventory and notify management when reorders are needed
• Pick up supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience in commercial or industrial housekeeping/janitorial services preferred
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift  25lbs for extended periods
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
• Capacity to take directions
• Reliable and punctual
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Must have a driver's license
