Commercial Accountant – Venues | Melbourne

Ready to take ownership of a high-impact finance role supporting some of Australia's most exciting venues? We're looking for a commercially minded Commercial Accountant who thrives on partnering with operations, delivering financial insights, and driving performance across a diverse portfolio. This is an opportunity to step beyond traditional accounting and influence business outcomes through analysis, reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end month-end reporting, reconciliations, journals, and P&L analysis.
Manage budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial performance reporting across venue events.
Drive client invoicing, debtor management, and working capital improvements.
Partner with operational leaders and clients to deliver in depth reporting, commentary and commercial insights.
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance financial performance and efficiency.
