OVERVIEW
  • To provide prompt, accurate, courteous service to our customers, Account Managers, Risk Advisors, and company personnel. To grow and develop your talents and insurance knowledge to the highest level possible. To provide with a good attitude, a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing our commercial accounts. 
 
DUTIES | ACTIVITIES
Certificates
  • Prepare evidence of property, certificates of liability, auto, and equipment certificates.
  • Process 30-day notice of cancellation change requests with carriers and update Acord applications in agency management system when required on certificate of insurance.
  • Prepare and process all requests for proof of coverage as required within 24 hours of request.
  • Keep certificate forms spreadsheet and company forms files for certificates updated for the Commercial Lines department in the Scan Folder on shared drive.
  • Obtain underwriter approval on manuscript endorsements as well as customer approval for endorsements with additional premium charges to meet certificate requirements.
  • Process Commercial Account loss payee and mortgage holder changes to meet certificate requirements.
 
Processing
  • Process renewals in agency management system and provide renewal comparisons to Risk Advisor/Account Manager as needed.
  • Send Policies by email to insureds or organize outgoing policies in binders/folders for agents to deliver or to mail to insured.
  • Process audits & endorsements in agency management system and address any errors with Account Manager and carrier, as needed.
  • Process changes with carriers and follow agency management system workflows as requested by Account Manager.
  • Process policies in management system and provide renewal comparison to Account Manager and Risk Advisor indicating any changes or issues.
  • Process driver changes and MVR review requests.
  • Process FS1 requests with carriers.
  • Obtain underwriter approval on manuscript endorsements as well as customer approval for endorsements with additional premium charges.
  • Process commercial account loss payee and mortgage holder changes.
  • Prepare account summaries of insurance for upcoming renewal reviews.
