Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Commercial Carpenter Apprentice for a long-term role with a commercial construction company located in Hillsboro, OR. The person in this position will perform work at companies like Nike and Intel.
PAY: $24-28/hr
Commercial Carpenter Apprentice Responsibilities:
Some Renovation tasks - general tenant improvement.
Metal framing
Drywall patch work and sheet rock hanging
Painting
Hand and power tool operation
Lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Employees will report to main site in the morning for dispatch and will either drive a company vehicle or ride in a company truck to sites
Commercial Carpenter Apprentice Qualifications:
3+ years of carpentry experience
Sheetrock experience including taping and hanging is a must.
1+ year of painting/drywall
Must have own hand tools
Driver's license and ability to be insured to drive a company vehicle preferred
Position is subject to a drug screen (including testing for THC) and background check
