Commercial Carpenter Helper Pittsburgh Area

TradeWorX is hiring Commercial Carpenter Helpers for ongoing projects throughout the Pittsburgh area. This is a strong opportunity for workers with commercial construction, renovation, drywall, framing-assist, or demolition experience who want steady project exposure and the opportunity to remain active across future TradeWorX assignments.

Pay & Overtime:

• $20–$22/hour based on experience and assignment
• Overtime varies by project and is not guaranteed

Schedule:

• Primarily day shift 40 hours a week
• Current projects may begin as early as 6:00 AM
• Immediate and upcoming starts
• Long-term and ongoing Pittsburgh-area opportunities

Job Duties:

• Assist commercial carpenters and project crews with renovation and interior construction work
• Support selective demolition of drywall, ceilings, flooring, cabinetry, and fixtures
• Assist with drywall, framing, ceiling, and general carpentry-related tasks as assigned
• Measure, move, stage, and organize construction materials
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Follow foreman and superintendent direction throughout the project

Requirements:

• Previous commercial construction, carpenter-helper, renovation, drywall, or demolition experience preferred
• Basic familiarity with common construction hand and power tools
• Reliable transportation throughout the Pittsburgh area
• Ability to report consistently for early morning starts
• Work boots and appropriate work clothing required
• Strong reliability, safety awareness, and willingness to learn
