The Commercial Carpenter plays a key role in constructing and installing structures in commercial building projects. This position requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to collaborate with a team to ensure timely project completion and quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project specifications
Construct frameworks, partitions, and other wooden structures
Operate power tools and machinery safely and effectively
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans
Ensure compliance with safety regulations on all job sites
Work collaboratively with contractors, foremen, and other tradespeople
Inspect and maintain tools and equipment
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience in commercial carpentry
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with framing techniques
Proficient in operating power tools
Strong knowledge of safety compliance in construction
Excellent problem-solving skills
Effective communication abilities
