WSCO is seeking a reliable, independent Commercial Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of a K-8 school building. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in creating a safe, clean environment for students and staff and wants a consistent mid-day schedule.

Role Details:
Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 / hour
Hours: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday (22.5 hours/week)
Location: On-site at a K-8 school facility in the greater Lansing area
Primary Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for keeping offices, walkways, lobbies, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas presentable, safe, and sanitary.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, classrooms, and lobby spaces.
Vacuum carpeted areas, sweep, and mop hard surface floors.
Dust surfaces, fixtures, and furniture; clean interior glass and mirrors.
Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility.
Monitor and restock paper products, soap dispensers, and cleaning supplies.
Requirements & Qualifications
Background Check: Must possess a clear criminal background record.
Drug Screen: Must pass a drug screening
Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for extended periods, as well as lift up to 55 lbs as needed during your shift.
Dependability: Exceptional attendance record, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
Communication: Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions effectively.
Transportation: Must have your own reliable transportation to ensure punctual arrival.
