Were looking for a Commercial Client Acquisition & Retention Specialist to join our Iowa District and focus exclusively on driving new commercial client acquisition. This role is ideal for a proven B2B sales professional who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and closing new opportunities.

You will focus on commercial and small business insurance solutions, working with business owners to identify risks, deliver value-driven recommendations, and bring new accounts into the district. This is a high-impact, growth-oriented role with strong income potential tied directly to performance.

Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new business through outbound calls, referrals, networking, and community involvement

Receive warm leads from our district agencies

Identify and engage businesses to uncover insurance needs and risk exposures

Present tailored insurance solutions across commercial lines and related products

Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, discovery, quoting, presentation, and closing

Be a commercial insurance resource for our district

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects

Collaborate with service and account management teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients

Track activity, pipeline, and results in CRM systems

Stay current on industry trends, coverage options, and underwriting guidelines


Requirements

1+ year consultative sales experience preferred (insurance experience a plus, not required)

Ability to prospect consistently and manage a high-activity sales pipeline

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Coachable mindset with a desire to learn and grow

P&C Insurance license required prior to start (we provide pre-licensing coursework)
