Commercial Client Relationship/Production Manager 2025-07-31Job Location:15440 East Fremont DriveCentennial , Colorado 80112Employment Type: Full Time Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 depending on experienceThe OpportunityAs a Maintenance Commercial Client RelationshipManager, you will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of daily landscape maintenance operations for properties in the account portfolio. These properties include, but are not limited to commercial sites, municipalities, HOA's, and more. Snow removal operations during the winter months are required.ResponsibilitiesProperty ManagementManage a portfolio of commercial accounts.Develop strong professional relationships with account managers, irrigation technicians, maintenance foreman, operations manager and other team members to maintain open lines of communication via email, phone or in person.Understand client needs and develop close client relationships.Exceed client expectations by providing proactive communication and excellent customer service.Meet with clients regularly to conduct site walk-throughs to ensure work is performed at a high level.Work with crew(s) to assure they are aware of the expectations to complete the job timely and on budget.Manage job expenses (labor and materials) to meet budget guidelines.SalesAcquire new maintenance accounts.Research, identify, and deliver profitable business opportunities with new and existing clients through client relationships, cold calling, referral generation, cross selling and networking.Sell enhancements.Evaluate all revenue generating opportunities with clients.Set and meet financial goals.Production:Supervise and mentor maintenance crews to ensure work is completed to Designscapes' exacting standards.Provide ongoing training in best practices, plant care, design maintenance, and safety.Oversee and guide landscaping crews to ensure the timely and efficient completion of all landscape maintenance projects.Assign tasks, provide clear direction, and monitor crew performance to maintainhigh standards of workmanship and productivity.Ensure that crews are properly equipped with the tools, materials, and training needed to complete their work efficiently and safely.Scheduling and Planning:Plan and schedule crew activities for maximum efficiency while maintaining flexibility to accommodate weather, client changes, and design adjustments.Ensure that the work is completed within the expected timelines and budget.Ensure crews have the necessary resources, equipment, and materials to complete their tasks efficiently.Manage inventory and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure all tools and supplies are stocked and readily available.Snow RemovalDuring winter months when landscaping projects are no longer scheduled, must be available 24/7 to assist in managing snow.Complete snow removal logs.QualificationsEducation and ExperienceTwo (2) to four (4) year degree in Agronomy or Horticulture or equal years of landscape account management or production experience.Must have valid driver license and clean MVR.Specialized knowledge, skills and abilitiesKnowledge of pesticides and their use.Knowledge of local plants.Knowledge of annual color.Ability to understand standard maintenance practice in landscaping.Knowledge of irrigation systems and controller programming.Water management skills.Strong eye for detail.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.Must acquire state pesticide applicators license within first year of employment.Must be self motivated and have strong multi- tasking, communication and organization skills.Strong sales abilities.Bilingual a plus.CompetenciesMust possess excellent people skills and demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.Develop and maintain open, two-way communication with all team members.Strong problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail.Demonstrates a high level of initiative to improve efficiencies.Builds a strong sense of team work with co-workers.Displays a positive attitude and is courteous to others.Professional in appearance and presentation.Assists in promoting the company to the public in a positive manner.Takes pride in the work performed.Accepts the initiative to take on additional work if necessary.Listens well and follows directions provided.Shows integrity and consistency in all aspects of performing the job.Attends and actively participates in all necessary meetings.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
