Commercial Concrete Superintendent
Location: Pontiac
Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Commercial Concrete Superintendent to oversee field operations on large-scale commercial foundation and structural concrete projects. This leadership role requires managing crews, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily field operations, including layouts, formwork, rebar installation, and concrete pours.
- Supervise foremen, laborers, finishers, and subcontractors across multiple job sites.
- Monitor project schedules, productivity, and quality standards.
- Enforce workplace safety regulations and safe work practices.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Resolve field issues and maintain effective communication between field and office teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of commercial concrete construction experience.
- 3+ years in a Superintendent or field leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial foundations and structural concrete.
- Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and solving field-related issues.
- Proven ability to manage construction schedules and field operations.
