The Opportunity

You will serve as a vital specialist in the Office & Admin division, evaluating complex commercial project frameworks. This role gives you the autonomy to analyze expenditures and secure profitable bids while collaborating with a supportive pre-construction team. You will drive project success within an organization that genuinely treats you like family.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Analyze architectural drawings and project specifications to compile accurate material takeoffs.
• Calculate total projected costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracts.
• Solicit and evaluate competitive vendor quotes to ensure optimal project cost-control.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and field operations to align estimates with actual construction capabilities.
• Prepare comprehensive, highly detailed bid proposals for commercial construction opportunities.
• Review historical cost data to continuously refine and improve estimating accuracy.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven track record delivering precise cost estimates within the commercial general construction sector.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for negotiating with vendors and working with internal teams.
• Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, maintain rigorous organization, and meet strict bid deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in interpreting blue prints, structural engineering files, and contractual bid documents.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of related commercial construction estimating experience.
• Prior experience estimating high-stakes commercial builds tied to performance and project completion incentives.
