Osborne is hiring a skilled Commercial Construction Foreman to serve as the right hand to our Project Superintendent on local commercial construction projects in the Topeka area.
This role is ideal for someone with proven skills across commercial construction trades who is ready to step into a leadership role, take ownership on the job site, and grow with our team.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with hands-on commercial construction experience who can contribute immediately while continuing to develop into greater leadership responsibility.
IMPORTANT: This role requires demonstrated experience in commercial carpentry, concrete, or general construction. Candidates should have the trade knowledge and practical experience needed to safely and effectively perform the responsibilities of the position.

YOU MAY BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Serve as the Project Superintendent's right hand on local commercial construction projects
- Work alongside and help direct crew members across carpentry, concrete, and general construction scopes (framing, formwork, pouring, finishing, and more)
- Read plans and specifications to determine dimensions, materials, installation methods, and verify layouts
- Help plan daily tasks, allocate resources, and keep crews on schedule
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized worksites
- Build positive relationships with subcontractors and team members
- Identify risks and opportunities to help keep projects on scope, schedule, and budget
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
- 3+ years of commercial construction experience in carpentry, concrete, or general construction
- Experience leading, directing, or mentoring crew members preferred
- Ability to read blueprints/specifications and verify layouts
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership and responsibility
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Successful completion of required pre-employment screening, which may include a background check, drug screening, and physical capacity evaluation consistent with job requirements
- Preferred: CPR/First Aid certification, forklift/scissor lift experience, and personal small tool set
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $28-$38/hour depending on experience
