Dudonis Construction is a family-owned company built on a reputation for craftsmanship, reliability, and strong client relationships. While our roots are in luxury residential construction, we are expanding into the commercial sector with a major project in the Glassboro, NJ area.

We're looking for an experienced construction professional to take the lead on this large-scale commercial build. This role offers the opportunity to oversee a high-visibility project and play a key role in the company's continued growth.

Role Overview

As the Commercial Construction Project Lead, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of a major project--from early planning through final completion. This position requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate teams, manage logistics, and ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all stages of a commercial construction project, from pre-construction through closeout
• Act as the main liaison between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and execution plans
• Oversee subcontractor selection, agreements, and performance
• Conduct site visits and lead progress meetings to maintain alignment and momentum
• Review project documentation, including submittals, change orders, and payment applications
• Anticipate challenges and implement solutions to keep the project on track
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and contractual requirements
• Maintain organized and accurate project records using management software
• Provide leadership and direction to field personnel and support staff

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing construction projects, with a strong commercial background
• Demonstrated success overseeing large and complex builds
• Solid understanding of contracts, scheduling, and cost management
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with construction management platforms (e.g., Procore, JobTread, Buildertrend, or similar)
• Willingness to travel consistently to the Glassboro, NJ project site
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $140,000-$175,000 annually, depending on experience
