Senior Estimator
Take the next step in your career as a Senior Estimator with a rapidly growing, market-leading commercial contractor in the Houston market. This is a high-impact role where you'll own major bids, work directly with senior decision-makers, and help shape a strong pipeline of $5M-$20M projects-all while positioning yourself for accelerated career progression in a fast-moving, high-performance environment.
As a Senior Estimator, you will report into senior preconstruction leadership and play a critical role in delivering accurate, competitive bids across a diverse project portfolio.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects valued between $5M-$20M
- Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Perform quantity take-offs and develop comprehensive pricing models
- Solicit, review, and qualify subcontractor bids and proposals
- Identify scope gaps, risks, and coordination issues during preconstruction
- Maintain cost databases and detailed Excel tracking models
- Support proposal preparation, bid submissions, and client communications

The successful applicant will have:
- 3-5 years of estimating or preconstruction experience within commercial construction
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of construction documents, scopes, and technical drawings
- Proven experience estimating projects across multiple trades
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with construction software platforms (e.g., Procore) preferred
- Experience estimating large commercial projects
- Experience with Hard bid, as well as CMAR/GMP
