Job Description
The Commercial Construction Superintendent manages medium-sized construction projects ranging from $1M to $10M, overseeing multiple subcontractor teams to ensure timely and quality completion. This role involves daily communication with clients, coordinating resources, maintaining safety compliance, and managing budgets effectively. Occasional travel between sites is expected to support smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules to meet deadlines
- Supervise on-site activities and ensure quality control
- Enforce safety standards and compliance across all teams
- Manage project budgets and resource allocation efficiently
- Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to coordinate work
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to clients and stakeholders
- Oversee multiple subcontractor teams to ensure collaboration
- Conduct occasional travel between job sites as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in commercial construction
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA Safety Certification
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Construction Supervisor License
- Knowledge of Construction Management
- Blueprint Reading skills
- Strong understanding of Safety Standards Compliance
- Experience with Project Scheduling Software
- Proven Budgeting capabilities
- Leadership and Communication skills
- Effective Problem Solving abilities
