Commercial Construction Superintendent

The ideal candidate will have experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects. Experience in one or more of the following sectors is highly desirable:
- Concrete tilt-up construction
- Self-storage facilities
- Retail projects
- Restaurant projects
Candidates are not expected to have experience in every category. The hiring team understands that many successful superintendents have developed expertise across related project types. For example, self-storage experience often includes tilt-up construction, while retail experience frequently overlaps with restaurant work.
The key is having relevant commercial construction experience and a proven track record of leading projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day field operations from project start through completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics
- Maintain project schedules and drive milestone completion
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Lead project meetings and communicate effectively with project stakeholders
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively
Qualifications- Superintendent experience on commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, sequencing, and field operations
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain project momentum
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with ground-up construction preferred
