Commercial Door Installer

LaForce is looking for a dedicated Installer to work out of our Minneapolis, MN location. In this hands-on role, you’ll be installing doors, frames, and hardware in commercial buildings. We’ll set you up with the tools, safety gear, a company vehicle, and cover travel to job sites. You’ll work steady day shifts—no nights, no weekends.

What You'll Do:

• Install doors, frames and hardware at customer sites and new commercial projects.
• Read and follow work orders to get the job done right.
• Problem-solve onsite to adjust or replace materials as needed and ensure quality installations.
• Adjust or replacing existing materials and safely operating power and hand tools.
• Represent LaForce in a professional, respectful way on the job.

What We're Looking For:

We value hard work and determination! Candidates should have 1-2 years of carpentry or construction experience. Experience with commercial doors and hardware is a plus but we're willing to train. Additionally, 1-2 years of military experience will be considered in place of relevant carpentry or construction experience. A valid driver’s license with a good record is essential. You need to be able to lift heavy materials and work on your feet throughout the day. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship is a must! Candidates must also be able to pass a background check and drug test.
