Duties
Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across designated routes.
Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling skills or equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all federal and state regulations.
Deliver freight accurately and on time to various destinations, adhering to route schedules and traffic laws.
Manage documentation related to deliveries, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and inspection logs.
Maintain communication with dispatchers regarding route progress, delays, or issues encountered during trips.
Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or other specialized trailers to prevent shifting during transit.

Requirements
Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred.
Proven truck driving experience with a focus on freight delivery; familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus.
Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques or forklift operation if certified.
Strong knowledge of route driving best practices and safety regulations governing commercial transportation.
Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform load securement tasks; ability to lift heavy items as required.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and customers; reliable attendance is essential.
