Our state-of-the-art facilities produce precision-engineered precast components, and we pride ourselves on the professional execution of all trades involved in our manufacturing and assembly processes.

Position Summary:

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and licensed Commercial Electrician with a proven track record in commercial electrical installations. This role is integral to our operations, involving the installation, maintenance, and inspection of electrical systems within our precast modular building units, both at our manufacturing plant and at project sites. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of commercial electrical systems, safety codes, and thrive in a dynamic, production-oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly wage, reflective of your expertise and licensure.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Generous paid time off and holidays.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions.
  • Opportunities for continuous professional development and specialized training.
  • Secure, year-round employment in a growing and innovative industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Integration: Install, terminate, and connect electrical systems, conduits, wiring, and components within precast concrete modules. This includes rough-in and finish electrical work according to project specifications and blueprints.
  • Blueprint Comprehension: Accurately read and interpret complex electrical blueprints, schematics, and design documents for commercial applications.
  • System Management: Install and connect power distribution panels, lighting systems, branch circuits, motor controls, and low-voltage systems (e.g., data, communication, security) as required for commercial use.
  • Cross-Trade Coordination: Collaborate effectively with structural engineers, project managers, plumbing, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into precast modules and their final assembly.
  • Code Compliance: Ensure all electrical work strictly adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and industry best practices.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems to guarantee functionality, safety, and performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect installed electrical work, identify any deviations or deficiencies, and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of materials utilized, work performed, and inspection results.
  • Safety Protocols: Uphold and enforce all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Apprentice Supervision: Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians and other support personnel.
  • Manufacturing Liaison: Work closely with the quality control department during module fabrication to ensure electrical components are correctly installed, protected, and ready for final assembly.

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Possess a valid and current Journeyman Electrician license or Master Electrician license (state-issued; Master Electrician strongly preferred).
  • Commercial Experience: A minimum of 5 years of dedicated commercial electrical experience is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with commercial electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting controls, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage applications.
  • Blueprint Skills: Proven ability to read and understand commercial electrical construction blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Code Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant local electrical codes.
  • Materials Experience: Familiarity and proficiency working with various electrical materials such as conduit, wire, breakers, panels, and fixtures common in commercial settings.
  • Teamwork & Autonomy: Capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs, working in various conditions, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing, prefabrication, or modular construction setting.
  • Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) or other prefabrication coordination software.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience with specialized commercial systems (e.g., industrial controls, hazardous location wiring).

Work Environment:

This role operates within both our manufacturing facility and at external project job sites. Candidates should be comfortable working in environments with varying conditions, including noise from heavy machinery and typical construction site elements.
