Commercial Electrician (Underground)

Responsibilities

Brasfield & Gorrie is hiring experienced underground electricians for a major data center project in Cartersville, GA. Join our underground conduit and duct bank crew installing electrical pipe and pull tape on one of the regions largest builds.

• Install underground electrical conduit and duct bank in pre-prepped trenches
• Perform pipe-to-structure tie-ins at building and equipment locations
• Install pull tape in conduit runs ahead of electrical wire-pulling crews (pipe only - no wire pulling on this crew)
• Read and work from electrical site plans, duct bank drawings, and conduit routing details
• Coordinate placement, depth, and elevations with sitework, civil, and electrical crews
• Follow all safety procedures related to excavation, trenching, and underground utility work
• Maintain quality and productivity standards on a large commercial/mission critical jobsite

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a commercial underground electrician, conduit installer, or duct bank installer
• Hands-on experience installing PVC, rigid, and/or fiberglass electrical conduit
• Experience with pipe-to-structure tie-ins and underground electrical rough-in
• Ability to read and interpret site plans, duct bank drawings, and conduit layouts
• Experience on large commercial, industrial, or mission critical/data center construction projects preferred
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• Reliable transportation to the jobsite in Cartersville, GA
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor associated with underground utility installation

3+ years of experience as a commercial underground electrician, conduit installer, or duct bank installer
