Pay Range: $29.00 - $31.00/hourly

A Commercial Escrow Assistant supports escrow officers by managing the administrative, clerical, and documentation processes for commercial property sales and loans. They prepare closing documents, coordinate with all parties (buyers, sellers, lenders), handle funds, and ensure compliance with regulations to facilitate smooth transactions.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Provides escrow services for commercial transactions.
  • Documentation & Files: Preparing, reviewing, and tracking escrow instructions, deeds, and title documents.
  • Transaction Coordination: Serving as a primary point of contact for parties involved, including coordinating with lenders and agents.
  • Financial Handling: Assisting in the preparation of settlement statements and overseeing the deposit and disbursement of funds.
  • Closing Procedures: Setting up, managing, and closing complex commercial files while clearing title issues.
  • Compliance: Ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations as well as corporate policies, including wire fraud prevention.
  • Responsible for facilitating real estate transactions by providing a high level of customer service and proactive communication to both internal and external customers throughout the closing process.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Escrow Assistant or escrow experience required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word
  • High School Diploma
