Escrow Officer Work as a dynamic team providing best in class service and support in the commercial real estate space. First American is looking to add an Escrow Officer to our growing Specialized Commercial Services team. In this role you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting supporting the team in a variety of ways including coordinating title searches for commercial transactions ranging from single site to high-liability multi-site, be responsible for establishing new commercial escrow accounts and processing escrow documents in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position plays a key role in transforming the commercial real estate experience by empowering our employees and customers to deliver next-generation solutions and results. Come be part of the most successful company in the industry, leveraging the best technology and strongest escrow and underwriter partners, where we are transforming the commercial real estate experience one deed at a time.What You'll Do:Coordinate and track completion of title searches for commercial transactions depending on the locality and corporate standards.Properly price commitments, endorsements, policies and guarantees using appropriate schedule of fees and chargesWork cross-functionally with Underwriting to review and approve a variety of documentation including deeds, operating agreements, and corporate resolutionsResponsible for ensuring that all funds are properly accounted for and disbursed in accordance with the terms of the contractComplete closing by reviewing, recording, and filing documents including preparing and distributing final closing statements and title, ensuring adherence to delivery dates and timelines.Prepare regular reports on the status of the escrow account and provide these reports to the parties involved in the transactionPrepare legal documents for the closure of the saleComply with regulatory requirements by adhering, and enforcing adherence, to requirementsWhat You'll Bring:Passion for helping customers while maintaining a professional and positive attitudeProven problem-solving skills with eagerness to learn and shareUnderstands how to navigate internal and external resources to gather information and resolve questionsExcellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers; uses various types of communication to meet customer expectations and build relationshipsNatural curiosity, enjoys researching the history and background of transactions, analyzing, and evaluating recordsThrives in contributing to a team working together to deliver beyond customer expectationsKnowledge of MS Office suite and ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologiesFlexible with the ability to multi-task and handle all aspects of title supportHigh school diploma or equivalent3-5 years of commercial title and escrow related experiencePay Range: $26.88 - $35.82 Hourly, RemoteThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
