Commercial Excavation Laborer

TradeWorX is hiring Commercial Excavation Laborers in the Tannerville, PA area for the Harrisburg division. This position will support a site excavation contractor on a commercial project and assist crews with general labor, ground support, site cleanup, and equipment operator support.

Pay & Schedule:
$20.00–$23.00 per hour based on experience. Start date is ASAP. Schedule and duration are currently project-dependent and will be confirmed during the recruiting process. Overtime may be available depending on project needs. No per diem is offered for this position.

Job Duties:

• Support excavation crews and equipment operators on a commercial jobsite
• Assist with site cleanup, material handling, debris removal, and general labor tasks
• Perform hand digging, grading support, spotting assistance, and ground support as needed
• Help maintain safe work areas around active excavation and heavy equipment
• Follow direction from site supervision and assist with daily jobsite production needs

Requirements:

• Prior construction, excavation, site work, utility, or general labor experience preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors and around active heavy equipment
• Able to lift, carry, shovel, rake, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation to the Tannerville, PA area
• Must follow jobsite safety rules and supervisor direction
• PPE and site-specific requirements will be reviewed before start

• Has experience supporting site work, excavation, utility, concrete, or commercial construction crews
• Understands how to work safely around operators, trucks, equipment, and active jobsite traffic
• Reliable, punctual, and available to start ASAP
• Willing to perform hands-on labor and support multiple jobsite tasks
• Communicates well and follows direction from field leadership
