Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Experience Superintendent - Long Island, NY to oversee commercial construction projects throughout Long Island from ground-up construction through project completion. Description

As a Commercial Experience Superintendent - Long Island, NY, you will:

• • Manage all day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and site logistics.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Maintain and update construction schedules.
  • Lead site meetings and coordinate activities with project management teams.
  • Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Enforce OSHA standards and company safety procedures.
  • Resolve field issues and maintain project momentum through completion.
  • Oversee punch list activities and project closeout.

Profile

A successful Commercial Experience Superintendent - Long Island, NY should have:

• • 7+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor.
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects valued between $5M-$50M+.
  • Background in healthcare, education, municipal, retail, office, mixed-use, or institutional projects preferred.
  • Strong expertise in scheduling, subcontractor management, and construction sequencing.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • OSHA 30 Certification required or preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Long Island project experience strongly preferred.
