Commercial Fleet Tire Account Executive

Picture your day at Garzo Tire in the Terre Haute area: you start with a quick check of your pipeline, map out visits to fleet yards and trucking depots, and head into the field. By mid-morning, you’re walking a customer’s lot, reviewing tire wear patterns, discussing routes and load demands, and recommending the right truck tire solutions. After lunch, you finalize quotes, follow up on proposals, and coordinate with our shop team to make sure every order is filled accurately and on time. You wrap up by logging activity, noting wins and next steps, and planning tomorrow’s calls.

What you’ll take on

• Grow and manage a book of business selling commercial truck tires to local and regional companies.
• Call on fleet managers, trucking firms, and business accounts to uncover needs and present solutions.
• Develop recurring relationships with regular customers and expand wallet share.
• Visit client sites to assess requirements and recommend products and services.
• Prepare quotes, follow through diligently, and close sales.
• Partner closely with our shop team to ensure precise order fulfillment and service scheduling.
• Track sales activity and report results and forecasts to management.

What you bring

• Proven B2B sales background (selling to businesses is required).
• Experience in the tire or trucking industry.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Self-starter mentality with the drive to prospect and win new accounts.
• 3+ years of outside/field sales experience is strongly preferred.
• An existing book of business is a significant plus.

Compensation & schedule

Base salary plus commission, with earnings increasing as you build and retain your customer base. This is a full-time role.
