Waste Connections Company has an immediate opening for a Front Load Driver at our Hauling site in Opa Locka, FL . The position will be responsible for driving a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites.

Pay Range: $25-30+/hr. DOE

Key Responsibilities:

+ Safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.

+ Utilize electronic route sheets to ensure timely and efficient waste collection.

+ Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and the community.

+ Perform a physically demanding job, including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy loads.

+ Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Requirements:

+ Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) .

+ 2+ years minimum commercial driving experience .

+ At least 2 years of stable work history , with your most recent position being a CDL driver

+ Able to lift 50+ pounds

+ Clean driving record for the last 5 years

+ Ability to operate a garbage truck safely and efficiently.

+ Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.

+ Excellent customer service skills.

+ Ability to perform a physically demanding job, including lifting and loading waste.
