Commercial Glazier – Zeeland, MI
DISHER is partnering with a locally owned glass and metals company to find an exceptional Commercial Glazier to join their team in Zeeland, MI. This commercial glazing contractor based in Zeeland, Michigan, with over two decades of history providing glass and framing services across the Midwest and beyond, supported by a team whose combined industry experience exceeds 300 years. In this role, you’ll play a critical role in installing and fabricating storefront, curtain wall, and aluminum-framed entrances for customers around Michigan.

What you will get to do:

  • Fabrication and installation of storefront, curtain wall, and aluminum-framed entrances
  • Installation of glass and other glazing materials
  • Installation of glazed canopies, skylights, glass guardrails, mirrors, glass markerboards, etc.
  • Installation of hardware and other materials associated with the above items

  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good at problem-solving and decision-making
  • Motivated to work quickly and accurately
  • Commitment to high standards of quality
  • Willingness to learn
  • Able to lift and team carry 75-100 lbs
  • Willingness to travel and work OT as needed to meet deadlines
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Previous experience installing glass doors, aluminum storefronts and windows in a commercial environment
