Step into a 3–6 month on-site assignment where you’ll fabricate and braze refrigeration and water subassemblies for commercial HVAC equipment. If you have 3+ years of commercial or industrial brazing experience and a passion for high-integrity, leak-free joints, this role was built for you.
A day in the life
- Cut, bend, fit, and braze copper tubing to assemble refrigeration and water circuits.
- Join copper-to-copper, copper-to-stainless, and copper-to-brass using oxy-acetylene torches and silver-based filler metals.
- Braze large-diameter piping from 2-1/8" up to 4"+ while meeting stringent quality standards.
- Interpret blueprints, BOMs, ECNs, diagrams, and work instructions to build exactly to spec.

- Schedule: 50+ hours/week guaranteed
- Per diem: $45/day tax-free (7 days/week)
- Lodging: Private, single-occupancy hotel accommodations provided

- Compliance: Must pass a background check and drug test
What you bring
- 3+ years of recent commercial or industrial brazing experience (residential-only experience does not qualify).
- Hands-on experience with large-diameter copper beyond typical residential work.
- Proficiency with oxy-acetylene torches and silver-based brazing alloys.
- Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings in both metric and standard units.
- Solid understanding of heat control, joint prep, and techniques for copper and mixed metals.
- Familiarity with refrigeration or commercial HVAC systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and safe use of hand and power tools.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and a safe jobsite.
