Step into a role where your commercial HVAC/R skill set keeps businesses running. As our Commercial HVAC/R Field Service Specialist, you’ll install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across a two-hour service radius. You’ll move between preventive maintenance and complex diagnostics, all while delivering clear communication and a great customer experience.
A day in the life
- Start with a safety check and review work orders and schematics for your scheduled calls.
- Drive to sites within our service territory (typically up to a 2-hour radius) to perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose performance issues, identify root causes, and execute repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems.
- Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations with accuracy and detail.
- Advise clients on system status, next steps, and best practices, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with teammates to solve tricky problems and share knowledge as technologies evolve.

What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC/R technical certification preferred
- 3–5 years of HVAC/R experience with commercial service/install exposure
- Demonstrated proficiency with HVAC/R systems, components, and the tools of the trade
- Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Strong diagnostic mindset and meticulous attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong communicator with a customer-first approach
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team
