Job Description
This position will report to Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global.
Job Responsibilities:
* Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of commercial HVAC and Refrigeration systems, including but not limited to split systems, package units, chillers, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.* Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting electrical components, and replacing filters.* Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration system malfunctions, identifying root causes and recommending appropriate solutions.* Conduct repairs and component replacements based on diagnostics performed.* Document all service and repair work accurately and thoroughly.* Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.* Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and tools.* Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing clear explanations of work performed.* Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills.* Participate in On-call rotation or emergency service.
Job Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a vocational HVAC program or apprenticeship is a plus.* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.* Basic understanding of HVAC systems and principles.* Familiarity with common hand and power tools used in HVAC work.* Ability to read and interpret basic schematics and wiring diagrams.* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.* EPA Section 608 Universal Certification * Willingness to learn and grow within the HVAC industry.
