Picture your day: you review plans for a retrofit changeout, load grooved iron pipe, coordinate a WSHP install, and prep an RTU replacement while mapping out the piping layout for tomorrow’s cooling tower swap. You wrap up by documenting work in mobile reports — no paper work orders — and debrief with a service team that’s been together for more than 15 years.
Focus of the role: retrofits, changeouts, and new construction across commercial and residential properties. Experience with central plants and chilled water systems is a plus.
What you will do
- Install complete HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and refrigeration components.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on existing systems and ensure reliable operation.
- Work closely with property and facility teams to resolve comfort and performance concerns quickly.
- Follow safety protocols and industry codes for every installation and repair.
- Apply mechanical skills to piping, welding, and refrigeration tasks required for quality installs.
- Document labor and materials accurately using digital tools.
Current opening
Install Tech (3+ years of experience): hands-on work with grooved iron pipe, WSHP system installs, RTU replacements, piping layout, cooling tower replacements, and a variety of commercial installations.
What you bring
- 3+ years as an HVAC installer in the heating and cooling industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and effective system diagnostics.
- Capability to perform property-related tasks supporting HVAC installs.
- Experience in plumbing, welding, and refrigeration techniques is a plus.
- Clear communicator with sharp problem-solving and attention to detail.
