Commercial HVAC Service Technician - Chillers and BoilersTNT Heating and Air Pay Range: $40-$45/hourThe OpportunityTNT Heating and Air is looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician with strong knowledge of chillers, boilers, and hydronic systems.This position is ideal for a technician who can independently troubleshoot complex commercial HVAC equipment, complete repairs and preventative maintenance, and keep critical heating and cooling systems operating reliably.What You'll Be DoingDiagnose, service, and repair water-cooled chillers and closed-loop boiler systemsMaintain chilled-water and hot-water systemsTroubleshoot refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and control issuesService pumps, valves, cooling towers, piping, and related componentsPerform preventative maintenance and equipment inspectionsTest temperatures, pressures, flow, safeties, and overall system performanceTroubleshoot compressors, motors, sensors, relays, and controlsRead electrical schematics and manufacturer documentationIdentify equipment deficiencies and recommend appropriate repairsDocument completed work and communicate findings with customers and the service teamWork independently while coordinating with TNT's dispatch and service teamsWhat We're Looking For3+ years of commercial chiller, boiler, or large commercial HVAC experience preferredHands-on experience with water-cooled chillersExperience with closed-loop boilers and hydronic systemsStrong commercial HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsKnowledge of commercial refrigeration and electrical systemsExperience with pumps, cooling towers, valves, and controlsAbility to read wiring diagrams and schematicsEPA Universal CertificationValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordStrong customer service and communication skillsExperience servicing Carrier, Trane, York, Daikin, or similar commercial equipment is highly desirable.Additional Experience We ValueFactory chiller training, boiler and combustion experience, building automation knowledge, chiller rebuilds or overhauls, large-tonnage HVAC experience, and NATE or manufacturer certifications are all a plus.Pay and Benefits$40-$45 per hour, based on experience.TNT Heating and Air offers:100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and life insuranceRoth IRA with up to 3% company matchPaid time offCompany vehicleCompany phoneTools and uniformsPerformance incentives and job-efficiency bonusesOngoing technical and manufacturer trainingOpportunities to pursue NATE and advanced industry certificationsJoin TNT Heating and Air and put your commercial chiller and boiler experience to work with a company that values skilled technicians and provides opportunities for long-term growth.Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
