They are specifically known for high quality installation and service and is experienced in commercial healthcare, educational, life science, pharmaceutical, and state/federal government work.

The Commercial HVAC Service Technician plays a critical role in maintaining mission-ready heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems across large commercial facilities. This position is well-suited for transitioning veterans with experience in technical trades, mechanical/electrical systems maintenance, or operational support roles. The technician will apply disciplined troubleshooting, preventive maintenance practices, and safety-focused operations to ensure reliable HVAC system performance. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, control, and refrigerant components while working as part of a cohesive and high-performing team. This role requires the ability to interpret technical diagrams, document maintenance actions clearly, and operate effectively in dynamic and demanding environments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

Follow the client's safety standards with the same focus on risk mitigation and operational discipline used in military environments.

Maintain situational awareness to ensure a safe workspace for yourself, your teammates, and the customer.

Preventive Maintenance

Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on heavy commercial HVAC systems to maintain peak operational readiness and prevent equipment failures.

Technical Troubleshooting & Repairs

Diagnose system issues-including electrical, mechanical, control, and refrigerant-related faults-using advanced problem-solving techniques built on military technical training.

Execute repairs efficiently and accurately to restore full system capability.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain detailed, accurate records of maintenance actions, diagnostics, and parts usage-similar to military logbook, equipment readiness, or maintenance documentation requirements.

Customer Support

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients to understand concerns, explain technical findings, and deliver high-quality service.

Represent the company with the professionalism and integrity expected of a veteran.

Teamwork & Collaboration

Work closely with fellow technicians and support personnel, applying military values of teamwork, reliability, and shared mission success.

Qualifications

5+ years of Commercial HVAC service experience or comparable military mechanical/electrical maintenance experience plus relevant certifications

EPA Universal Certification (or the ability to obtain prior to start date)

Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

Strong communication and customer service skills

Effective time-management and task-prioritization abilities

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical schematics

Experience troubleshooting a wide range of commercial HVAC systems

Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, email, digital maintenance systems)

Experience making informed repair and replacement decisions, similar to military equipment readiness assessments

Physical ability to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel, and lift/move 50-75 pounds as required by mission tasks Job 58777

Salary: $25 to $35 per hour, Company Car, Little to No Overnight Travel, Full Benefits, 401K, Revenue/Profit Sharing and Annual Merit Reviews
