Commercial HVAC Technician

Location: On-site | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, service, and repair HVAC systems including compressors, chillers, condensers, cooling towers, and pumps.
• Perform preventative maintenance on heating and air systems such as boilers, air handlers, and evaporative coolers.
• Troubleshoot and replace faulty components: thermostats, valves, switches, motors, fans, filters, controls, etc.
• Safely operate hand and power tools, vacuum pumps, torches, and testing equipment.
• Complete minor electrical work including wiring motors, connecting control panels, and troubleshooting controls.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and stay on schedule with minimal supervision.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Expertise in diagnosing and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and performing physical tasks like climbing, crawling, and bending.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of documented journeyman-level HVAC experience.
• Valid state-issued HVAC Journeyman License.
• Valid Driver’s License.
