Commercial HVAC Technician

K&R Staffing is seeking experienced and motivated Commercial HVAC Technicians for a well-established, family-owned company. This is a great opportunity for technicians looking for steady, local work without having to spend nights away from home.

Commercial HVAC experience is preferred, but we are also open to experienced residential HVAC technicians who have a strong technical background and are ready and willing to learn commercial systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems
  
• Diagnose HVAC equipment and mechanical issues
  
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service
  
• Work with rooftop units, split systems, package units, and other HVAC equipment
  
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment specifications
  
• Complete service and installation work safely and efficiently
  
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
  
• Maintain accurate service and job documentation
  
• Follow company and job site safety procedures
  

Requirements

• Previous commercial HVAC experience preferred
  
• Experienced residential HVAC technicians are encouraged to apply
  
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and mechanical skills
  
• Understanding of electrical components and HVAC controls
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  
• Dependable, professional, and willing to learn
  
• EPA certification is a plus
  
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of HVAC work, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in varying weather conditions
