Our client, an industry leader in commercial building services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to join their team. As a vital part of the Facilities Maintenance Department, supporting the operations team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the comfort and safety of commercial spaces. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer interaction, and industrial experience, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s commitment to excellence and safety.
Job Title: Commercial HVAC Technician
Location: Pensacola, FL
What's the Job?
- Design, install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial settings
- Troubleshoot boilers, heating systems, and related mechanical components to ensure optimal performance
- Manage HVAC-related projects efficiently, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints
- Operate and maintain Building Management Systems to enhance building performance
- Conduct painting and carpentry work related to HVAC installation and repair, ensuring quality craftsmanship
What's Needed?
- Valid HVAC/Refrigeration Licenses required; residential experience alone is not sufficient
- Strong foundation in construction and mechanical systems, including boilers, ventilation, refrigerants, and plumbing
- Proficiency in project management and energy management practices
- Ability to operate various control systems, including fire alarms and life safety systems
- Understanding of electrical equipment, refrigeration principles, and safety training practices
