Allegiance Insurance Brokers is seeking an experienced
Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our Myrtle Beach team. This is a great opportunity for an insurance professional who enjoys working directly with clients, understands the details of commercial insurance policies, and thrives in an organized, customer-focused environment.
This position requires someone who is
already located in the Myrtle Beach, SC area and has previous commercial insurance experience.
What You'll Do
As a Commercial Insurance CSR, you'll work closely with our clients and team to provide ongoing service and support for commercial insurance accounts. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with policy questions, changes, and general service needs
- Preparing and processing Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
- Working with ACORD forms and other insurance documentation
- Reviewing and servicing commercial insurance policies
- Maintaining accurate and organized client and policy records
- Communicating with clients, carriers, and internal team members
- Prioritizing and reprioritizing tasks based on customer and business needs
- Providing responsive, professional customer service
- Helping ensure client requests and policy-related tasks are handled accurately and efficiently
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license, including South Carolina
- Previous commercial insurance experience
- Experience working with ACORD forms
- Experience preparing and processing Certificates of Insurance
- Working knowledge of commercial insurance policies and how coverage works
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust as client and business needs change
- Must currently live in or near the Myrtle Beach, SC area
Preferred:
- Experience with Vertafore AMS360 or a similar agency management system
- Life & Health insurance license
Experience with AMS360 is helpful but not required, and training can be provided. Candidates who do not currently hold a Life & Health license may have the opportunity to obtain one in the future.
