Commercial Insurance Producer (P&C)

Location: Houston, TX 77079 (Onsite)
Compensation: Base Salary Targeting $50,000-$75,000 + Uncapped Commission + Performance Bonuses

A well-established insurance organization in the 77079 area is seeking a driven Commercial Insurance Producer to develop new business opportunities within the transportation, logistics, and related commercial sectors.

This role is ideal for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and growing a long-term book of accounts. Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new commercial insurance opportunities
• Build relationships with business owners, fleet operators, and transportation-related organizations
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, and business development efforts
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
• Prepare proposals, present coverage options, and close new business opportunities
• Partner with internal teams to provide a high level of customer service and account support
• Maintain and grow a consistent sales pipeline
• Cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients
• Stay informed on market conditions, industry trends, and commercial insurance products
• Meet and exceed individual sales and growth goals

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required
• Insurance sales, business development, or account management experience
• Transportation or trucking insurance experience preferred but not required
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Organized and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Comfortable in a goal-oriented sales environment

Preferred Background

• Commercial P&C sales experience
• Transportation, logistics, trucking, or fleet industry exposure
• Experience utilizing CRM systems and sales technology
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
