Join a company where your expertise helps create efficient, functional, and well-designed workspaces.ScheduleMonday – Friday7:30 AM – 4:30 PMFull-Time (40 Hours Per Week)In-Office PositionCompensation$55,000 per yearPaid Weekly (Every Friday)BenefitsHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) after one year of service15 Days Paid VacationStable, family-owned companyProfessional work environmentPosition SummaryThe Commercial Interior Designer & Data Specialist is responsible for supporting workplace planning, commercial furniture design, facility asset management, and space data accuracy across multiple locations.This position combines interior design, AutoCAD drafting, field verification, furniture planning, inventory management, and facility data management to ensure workplace environments are accurately documented and maintained.The ideal candidate has experience with commercial office furniture, strong AutoCAD skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating with internal teams and clients.Essential ResponsibilitiesSpace Planning & Furniture DesignCreate and update furniture layouts using AutoCADDevelop space planning solutions for office environmentsMeet with stakeholders to determine furniture and space requirementsRecommend workplace layout improvementsField VerificationConduct field measurements and workspace verificationCompare existing floor plans to actual conditionsUpdate drawings to reflect accurate field conditionsMaintain accurate workspace documentationFurniture Installation SupportAssist with furniture installation and office reconfiguration projectsCoordinate with vendors and internal teamsHelp resolve installation issues as neededAsset & Inventory ManagementPerform furniture inventory auditsMaintain accurate asset recordsTrack furniture inventory and workspace changesSupport ongoing reporting initiativesFacility Data ManagementUpdate facility and asset information within ArchibusOrganize project documentation using SharePointMaintain accurate floor plans and workspace recordsEnsure facility data remains current and accurateWarranty & Order ManagementReview furniture orders for accuracyCoordinate furniture warranty claimsAssist with order tracking and project documentationQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Interior Design (Required)Experience with commercial furniture systemsStrong AutoCAD experienceExperience with office space planningExperience conducting field verification and measurementsStrong organizational and project management skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple prioritiesExperience with SharePoint preferredExperience with Archibus or other facility management software preferredPreferred ExperienceCommercial office furniture designFurniture specificationOffice relocations and reconfigurationsFurniture installation coordinationFacility management systemsAsset managementInventory managementCAD draftingWorkplace planningPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workdayOccasionally lift up to 25 poundsAbility to perform detailed computer and design work requiring close visual attentionWhy Join NSG?Competitive salaryWeekly payExcellent benefitsStable, family-owned companyProfessional office environmentOpportunity to work on a variety of commercial workplace projectsCollaborative team cultureOpportunities for professional growthApply today and help create innovative, functional workplace environments while supporting facility planning and commercial furniture projects across multiple locations.NSG, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
